Should the in-laws or parents call on their kids anniversary?

-Because my in-laws never call us on our anniversary, but we always call them on their anniversary.

non that i care about if they call or not, but what is the right thing to do?Such a teeny tiny thing to worry about...if you want to call on their anniversary..CALL

There is nothing that says they need to call you. I never call my kid on her anniversary..However, I never miss her B-day or the kids B-day...the anniversary is something special only between the two of them.
Maybe you should stop calling on their anniversary, since it doesn't seem to be something they care about or reciprocate. I think anniversaries are between the two people, and others shouldn't feel obligated to do anything for the two.
You should call your parents.

They should not call you.
If they want to share in your big day, yes they can call. However, you should not expect it just enjoy it.
Not necessary unless they care....My in-laws cares about birthdays..of course, we call them on theirs but they want us to call everyone in the "familiy" on theirs..........
It's not traditional for people to do this. Some people I know do it (my mother-in-law) but most don't.
